The Singing News has gotten back into the message board business.
It seems to be taking off pretty good based on the number of hits and replies the forums are receiving.

How did they get BACK into the message board business. They were never in it.
And I wouldn't call what they are receiving as a ton of hits. Besides they share the forums with at least 3 other companies.

First of all I never said they got a "ton" of hits.
Second, I was basing my statement on hits that each thread had received, not the site as a whole, so it wouldn't matter if they shared the forum with the New York Times.
As far as getting back into message boards, perhaps I'm wrong about that, but I seem to remember a short-lived attempt from them at that type thing several years ago.
Based on the number of hits doesn't mean anything. They still share the forums with 3 other companies which means you have to base those hits on the fact that people are coming from 3 other places to "check it out." They don't mean anything.
The Singing News has never had a message board before.

They DID have a board back in the late 90's but pulled it because it backfired on them. Like every board it's edited to death..
They are now in "preservation" mode trying to keep some traffic count to the site so they can sell their advertising..
